The Contact Diary shows a list of contacts or events and whether they are completed yet. Where further actions are due, the next action date is shown, with red entries showing overdue actions.
Each Contact is allocated to a Project for reporting purposes.
Being web-based, the system is very flexible - it is easy to go straight to the interesting entry, simply by clicking on the underlined or highlighted item.
Click on 'New Entry' and a new record is created.
There are 'lookups' to make finding clients easier. Alternatively, clients may be entered retrospectively and tied up to the Diary Entry later (or even not at all).
Red 'Notes' indicate that there are some general notes entered against the client which may be important.
There is a system of 'Templates' which can be used to cut down the time spent typing information in when the office is busy.
These provide the basic information about particular kinds of enquiries or events, leaving only the important detail to be keyed in. This can be done straight away or left till later.
This cuts down the administration time and makes it more practical to record events as they happen.
The entries are represented like pages in the traditional written diary, with the ability to move between pages to change days.
