Installation of Charitylog

Charitylog is a very flexible system, which means it can be configured to your organisation’s exact needs. Remember that being web-based, there is no installation to be done on your own equipment - you only need an Internet connection.

Once you place your order for Charitylog the first step is to provide you with a 'Pre-Implementation' spreadsheet. This is used to gather a lot of the background information you need, such as the ethnic groups, age bands, geographical districts and so on. This helps to prepare you as well as avoiding long discussions about such things during training days.

We use this information to create a starting database - this is available for the Implementation Meeting on your site. We have implementers with a great deal of experience in implementing Charitylog and can help you decide how best to use it for your needs.

Data input is very simple to do - and you’ll be trained to do it. If appropriate the Charitylog team can migrate any existing computer records to your new system.

Training will be done at your premises. Your selected system administrators will be given full training; everyone else will be taught only what they specifically need to know. Then you are ready to go live and start enjoying the benefits of Charitylog immediately.

A dedicated helpline is part of the package, but the system is very easy to use. Charitylog is a web based system, so the web pages are very familiar and intuitive.

We have recently invested in an e-learning system and are building a library of 'lessons'. These guide you through the processes in Charitylog and can also provide detailed or summary printed instructions.
