At Charitylog we like to keep things transparent. Pricing and product information are clear on our website, and there’s no hard sell: we don’t even employ salespeople. Most new clients come through word-of-mouth. And if we think Charitylog isn’t the right fit for your organisation, we’ll tell you.
Every Charitylog plan includes unlimited access to our in-house support team – no scripts, no outsourcing. If there’s an issue (like a rare system outage), we jump on it straight away and provide clear updates. We use Charitylog as our own CRM, so if something happens, we’ll feel the impact too!
We have over 1000 charity clients dealing with data relating to hundreds of thousands of vulnerable people – so we take data protection extremely seriously. Our reputation depends on it. We hold ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications, audited annually. All data stays in the UK, and we provide robust tools to ensure users only see information relevant to their role.
The Charitylog CRM runs on AWS, which now uses 100% renewable energy. We use sustainably designed office space and ensure we recycle whatever we can. We go out of our way to use local suppliers and independent businesses. Our office-based staff all live local to Ross-on-Wye, where we’re based. We support hybrid working to minimise travel and have recently consolidated office space.
Many of us at Charitylog previously worked for charities, so we genuinely care about the sector we serve. Quite a few of us volunteer or take part in fundraising challenges in our spare time, and the company offers the flexibility to make that possible. We keep clothing-donation boxes in the office and are always happy to share or amplify clients’ charity campaigns when asked.
At Charitylog, we operate openly: clear prices, clear expectations and clear communication. Our boundaries are explicit too – our terms forbid the use of Charitylog for illegal, harmful, discriminatory or deceptive purposes.
Each Charitylog employee takes personal pride in our CRM software. We care about making sure it works well for people, and take on board suggestions and feedback. We communicate regularly about changes and new features and send out free training videos. And we’ll go out of our way to work with individual charities to make sure our software is as accessible as possible for every member of their team.
