Make sure you're getting the most from your Charitylog system

When you first sign up to Charitylog you'll receive an agreed number of implementation sessions to help you get started. After you've been using the system for a few months you'll have a follow-up online review session with your implementation consultant.

You can also buy additional full- or half-day training or reviews.

Review sessions

This is a detailed, intensive session with one of our specialists to help you really get to grips with features and functions that would be helpful for you, and how to use them.

First review (included in your plan)

When your organisation is new to Charitylog, an initial online review session is offered as part of your plan. This is normally arranged a few months after you've started using Charitylog. During the session, the trainer will assess how things are going, suggest potential improvements and delve deeper into reporting capabilities. Reporting is one of the most important and valuable features of Charitylog.

It will be a half-day, full-day or two-day session, depending on which plan you're on.

Additional review sessions

You can arrange an intensive system review with one of our experienced training consultants, for an extra cost.

If you've been using Charitylog for more than a year, it's well worth arranging a review, and some organisations have them every 12 months.

What's included?

We'll check how things are going so far, explore reporting options in more detail and help you make sure you're getting the full benefit from your system. It's also a chance to ensure you're aware of any new or improved functionality, and can use it if you need to.

The review will be tailored to your organisation.

Reviews often pay for themselves quite quickly in terms of efficiency gains - so they're popular with our user base (testimonials below!).

Bespoke training

A bespoke training session can be useful if you have new staff members who are not familiar with Charitylog, or have started to use Charitylog for additional tasks or projects.

  • Learn more about specific features

  • Get training for new users

  • Get help with adding new services

  • Have a general refresher.

If you have a lot of queries about Charitylog, a one-off training session might be a good idea so you can run through them all in one hit, rather than having to make multiple calls to the support team.

We no longer run one-size-fits-all generic training courses. This is because people’s Charitylog systems and terminology tend to be tailored to their needs and every system is set up slightly differently - so the information relevant for one person or organisation may be incorrect or confusing for another.

Costs for all training courses and system reviews

• Half day - £295+VAT per day

In person

Why system reviews are worthwhile - customer testimonials

Aidan Marshall, Care4Carers (review mid-2024)

"After our last system review we know how to pull more types of data, with demographic details if needed. We can report specifically on carers who care for more than one person and who have more than one health issue. And we know much more about running different KPI reports. The review was really worthwhile. We increased our knowledge of Charitylog, have reduced duplication and can more swiftly capture and access data for reporting and monitoring."

Julia Waldron, Under the Stars (review mid-2024)

"I found the Charitylog review extremely useful. I’d never fully got to grips with running useful reports, for example, but our trainer, Allan, was able to easily digest what I wanted the system to do. We are now using the system in much better ways to benefit our clients and staff."

Having the 1:1 review has helped us use the system more effectively. Using data to evidence and report on our impact is vital, and the review has increased our confidence and knowledge of the reporting tools.
